Mengguang Huang

Mengguang Huang squareBorn and raised in Shanghai, Mengguang Huang is currently based in Hamburg, Germany. His professional background lies in architecture and shopping mall development, encompassing award-winning mixed-use projects across Asia, Europe, and Africa.

Having studied piano since childhood, he transitioned to the harpsichord during his studies in Edinburgh. While he has a particular passion for Early Music—specifically Baroque vocal music and opera—he maintains a high degree of openness and curiosity toward the broader classical canon, contemporary works, and world premieres. Beyond music, he has a strong interest in art history, archaeology, landscape garden, and healthy diet.

For him, music and writing are both media for communication, aiming to inspire discussion and shared vision.
