Held at Gioachino Rossini’s birthplace Pesaro since 1980, the festival has gathered thousands of Rossini fans as well as top opera musicians each year. Located in the coastal town famous for its fishery and furniture industry, guests will be able to explore the many facets of Pesaro together with wonderful interpretations of Rossini’s operas. Major singers including Marilyn Horne, Montserrat Caballé, Ruggero Raimondi and Juan Diego Flórez have all previously appeared on the Pesaro stage. Atop that, guests can also check out the famous historical buildings in the neighbourhood, including the Ducal Palace, the Romanesque Cathedral Basilica, the Baroque Sanctuary of Beata Vergine del Carmelo as well as embracing the beautiful beaches plunging directly into the Adriatic sea.
