She has over 20 years of teaching experience with students from all over the world. In addition to serving as an adjunct faculty at the Metropolitan Community College- Kansas City, Fanny has a thriving studio where her students are active participants in piano recitals, festivals, and competitions. She has a strong passion for piano pedagogy; to that end, she has established a website providing teaching resources for young piano teachers and students.

Fanny has been active in academia and regularly submits proposals and presents them at various events. She presented at various conferences, such as the Music Teacher National Association (2022), National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy (2021), Kansas Music Teacher Association (2020), and the College Music Society (2019). She works to discover and promote the work of lesser-known musicians. Her recent recording projects focus on works written by Latin American composers. Her new album includes 13 short pieces written by Blanca Layana Gómez, an Ecuadorian female composer.
