First established in 2002, the event was a concept derived from Tongyeong Contemporary Music Festival. Located at southern coastal region of the country, the festival is gradually transforming the small Korean fishing town into a culturally rich city that embraces world music and contributes to world’s cultural exchange. Aiming to express the complete harmony between music and the beautiful nature of Tongyeong, the event has evolved into a leading international music festival in Asia, featuring contemporary, jazz and classical music.
