Established in 1715, Three Choirs Festival is one of the world’s oldest classical choral music festivals dedicated to English repertoires. Taking place each year on rotation between the three great cathedral cities of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford, the festival has had a history of featuring choirs of the three and is closely identified lately with the musical careers of British composers Edward Elgar and Ralph Vaughan Williams.
