Launched in 1994, the festival presents nearly 20 concerts by world-class musicians every June, bringing broad ranges of classical music gems to different churches in southeastern Michigan. Throughout the years, Ruth Laredo, Andrés and Roberto Díaz, Peter Oundjian, Paul Katz, Joseph Silverstein and many more notable stars had appeared in the festival. Under the artistic direction of pianist James Tocco, it also focuses on assisting ensembles emerging to professional stature. Young chamber groups from around the world are invited for performances and coaching by Festival artists, thus providing initiatives for their pursuing of artistic excellence.
