Founded in 1985 by conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt in his home town Graz, the festival encourages a rediscovery of our musical heritage. Diversified programmes ranged from the Middle Ages to Romanticism are performed each year at renowned historical sites and halls. Pioneer artists of Early Music are invited to the festival, regular guests include Jordi Savall, Quatuor Mosaiques, and Armonico Tributo Austria.
