Named after Robert Schumann, the festival features unconventional repertoires from the Romantic period. Every year, renowned musicians and orchestras from all over the world come to Düsseldorf to perform Schumann’s work together with contemporary pieces in classical venues such as the Opera House, the Concert Hall, the College of Music, and various churches. Located in the city of Düsseldorf where Schumann had once resided, guests can experience the convergence of a rich historical culture and modern development.
