Founded in 1994, the event is a music festival held by the Ottawa Chamber Music Society in Ottawa, Canada. With an aim to remedy the meager availability of live classical music during the summer months, the festival stages classical, pop and jazz music as well as music from non-European countries. Past performers include The Beaux Arts Trio, Patrick Wedd, Guy Fouquet, Musica Camerata, Stéphane Lemelin, Tokyo String Quartet, Martin Beaver, St. Lawrence Quartet and many more.
