Founded in 1984 by violist Alan Iglitzin, the festival venue was originally meant to be a summer home for the Philadelphia String Quartet. Located on the Olympic Peninsula of the Pacific Northwest region in the United States, the barn is surrounded by a vast farmland inhabited with various flora and fauna. Featuring quality chamber music performances on an idyllic setting, the event has attracted numerous music lovers as well as professional musicians around the globe every year.
