Founded in 1992 by American musicians Michael Barrett and Leslie Tomkins, the Moab Music Festival aims to blend in outstanding musical performances with the spectacular landscape of the Canyonlands region. Every September, the event brings world-class musicians to stunning red rock venues around Moab, Utah for a feast of chamber music, jazz, and traditional music concerts. Furthermore, their unique grotto concerts are certainly a highlight, in which audience members travel down the Colorado River in jet boats to an acoustically perfect red rock concert site. After experiencing a unique musical sensation, guests can also engage in various recreational activities on offer including hiking, mountain biking or river rafting in the Canyonlands National Parks.
