Founded by André Böröcz in 1950 in Menton, a French Riviera old town, the festival has become one of the most important musical events in France. Located in the baroque architecture of St. Michael’s Basilica, the festival features a series of classical music programmes classified into three categories, namely “Grands interprètes”, “Concerts au Musée”, and “Festival OFF”. Set at the peaceful panoramic seaview outside the Basilica, concerts are presented of the highest quality featuring world renowned musicians.
