Established in 1960, the Festival Musica Antiqua Bruges is dedicated to authentic performance practice of early music in Belgium. With a series of selected programmes covering concerts, master classes, conferences, hinterland visits, and instrument exhibition, the festival combine some of the best showcases of organ, harpsichord, fortepiano and baroque instruments, voice and ensembles. Located in “the Venice of the North”, visitors will surely be captivated by the breathtaking beauty of Bruges. Being the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium, the historic city centre is a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO.
