Founded in 1986, the festival is a nationally-recognized chamber music festival in America. Taking place every summer in a seaside village in California, the festival presents some of the top artists of the chamber music world. Organized by the La Jolla Music Society, the event aims to enhance the vitality and to deepen the cultural life of San Diego by presenting and producing a dynamic range of performing arts for the increasingly diverse community. Besides concerts, the festival also offers a series of coaching workshops, music education and performance opportunities for the audience to achieve the aim.
