Founded in 1986, the Kissinger Sommer Fest is held every year in the summer in the city of Bad Kissingen, Southern Germany. As one of the most popular musical events in the country, it has invited many renowned musicians for performance, including Cecilia Bartoli, Evgeny Kissin, Arcadi Volodos, Grigory Sokolov, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Rafal Blechacz and Lars Vogt. During the event, famous stars join young artists to perform in symphony concerts, “Liederabende”, chamber music, literary readings, theatre evenings as well as open air jazz sessions. Most of the concerts are held inside The Casino, one of the grandest architecture built to entertain the royal guests in Bad Kissingen.
