With the mission to introduce opera to younger audience and nurture new talents, the festival is first launched in 1997, committed to presenting operas of the highest quality with international artists. Each year, three new productions are presented at the award-winning theatre inside The Grange, a listed English Heritage mansion near Northington, Hampshire. It has quickly established itself as one of the jewels in the opera calendar. To fulfill its mission, discounted ticket schemes and the Musical Chair project were set up for young opera lovers at affordable prices.
