First held in 2007, the Grafenegg Music Festival has become a major Austrian event for classical music taking place annually near Vienna. On the grounds of the grand Grafenegg Castle, guests will be surrounded by a cloud of great music performed by international guest orchestras as well as top local musicians. Led by artistic director – pianist Rudolf Buchbinder, the programme consists of symphonic and chamber music as well as recitals of various solo instruments. Apart from enjoying splendid music under the warmth of sunlight in the open-air stage Wolkenturm, visitors will also find joy lingering between the peaceful rural settings nearby- and certainly not to miss a chance of savouring the culinary treats and wines that Grafenegg is famous for.
