The annual piano festival was launched in 2021 at the prestigious setting of the Castle of Commarin. Founded by Claude Finot, the president of the association of the Friends of the Castle of Commarin (SA2C), and by pianist Ingmar Lazar, who serves as the patron of the event. Registered as a Historic Monument, the castle of Commarin has always been owned by the same family for over 900 years.
