Located in southern Burgundy, the Brionnais region is famous for its Romanesque churches, castles, good food (home region of Charolais beef) and green landscapes. The festival was established in 2005 by pianist Juliana Steinbach, with the aim to promote musical, artistic and cultural appearances in Charolais-Brionnais. Since then, the event has drawn a wide audience to the exquisite Romanesque churches of Southern Burgundy where the young pianist builds original programmes and presents new projects with some of her finest music partners.
