With the aim to promote and encourage appreciation of the aesthetic and spiritual value of Bach’s music, the festival is first established in 1900 by the Bach Choir of Bethlehem. Each year, the Mass in B minor by the master is presented, alongside other choral and instrumental works by composers who influenced Bach and were influenced by him.
